L 4766 was held to test the Cambrian Tindall Limestone exposed along Mathison Creek for its potential as feed for cement manufacture. Only one sample was found to be of sufficient grade. It was from an exposure that corresponds to about 4 m below the surface at sample site 34. The results from analysis of other limestone samples were disappointing. The magnesia content was too high. It was recommended to surrender the licence.en_US
