Abstract: Host rock geochemistry identified stromatolitic dolomite as the most likely host to mineralisation. Sulphides and barite are found as stratiform and stratabound cavity fillings. The mineralisation is disperse and of wide lateral extent but low in grade. Ore grade material is confined to faults that breach shallow anticlinal structures. Here localised values of up to 10% lead and 1% zinc occur.
