| Abstract: | Extensive geological traversing discounted the possibility of large bodies of tourmaline bearing graphitic shales and structurally controlled quartz vein systems within the Mount Bonnie Formation. A maximum grade of 0.04 g-metres cubed gold was obtained from check assays of pan concentrate samples. Thus the potential for significant alluvial reserves was discounted. |
