dc.description.abstractFive diamond drill holes were sunk during the year. Hole MPQ 4 intersected the middle and lower Koolpin Formation. Long intervals of sediment contained anomalous to low grade gold mineralisation. Hole MPQ 5 intersected a hydrothermally altered zone of Zamu Dolerite which contained weak gold-As mineralisation. Hole MPQ 7 intersected a Zamu Dolerite sill which was cut by abundant quartz veining and hosted disseminated arsenopyrite-pyrite-gold mineralisation. A costeaning programme was implemented to test for surface indications of gold mineralisation in Zamu Dolerite sills. Three main areas of anomalous gold in dolerite as well as numerous isolated 'spot highs' were indicated in all lithologies.en_US
