The 9 BLEG soil anomalies identified during the first year of exploration were evaluated a being nominal or a result of contamination and as such did not warrant follow up. Analysis of the 1984 Austirex aeromagnetic survey highlighted 4 subtle anomalies P21, P22, P28 and P29. P21 and P29 were not considered worthy of follow up. P22 and P28 were covered by a ground magnetic survey and P28 was subsequently drilled. The P28 magnetic anomaly drill results were of background level only. The anomaly was attributed to magnetite bearing sediments.en_US
