Abstract: | The dykes costeaned at Mt Bleechmore appear small and of little interest as a vermiculite source. Photo interpretation of ironstones indicated different types of ironstone, geochemistry suggesting residual and transported types. Alkaline igneous activity is indicated by geochemistry in several areas, some possib le sources being interpreted from air photos. Lineament studies have been of limited use. Several area warrant additional sampling and traversing There seems to be some base metal potential indicated by elevated lead levels in the clay fraction from sample number 11271. |
