Fourteen bulk stream sediment samples were collected at a regular interval by sampling with a backhoe to 1.5m depth. The garnet recovered is detrital and sample recovery is +/- 12% garnet content. A resource calculation suggests a tonnage of 0.982 million tonnes of contained garnet within Plenty River drainage.en_US
