Report on year ending 20-12-1988 for EL 4835

Abstract

Work during the 1988 field season included two exploration exercises within EL 4839. Firstly mnius 80 mesh soil samples were collected from most of the existing drainage and analysed tar arsenic. Secondly a RAB drilling programme was conducted over an area of some twenty hectares and analysed for gold, arsenic, lead and copper. The previous proved to be inconclusive but adding some support to the findings at the latter which, may prove to have indicated sites of potential mineralization. However the probability of aurlferous mineralization is not promising. Follow up work will be carried out in the fouth year at least utilising further soil sampling and/or dilling.
