Abstract

The Rum Jungle complex is approximately 80 kilometres south of Darwin. The location of the two exploration licenses and survey lines with respect to the township of Batchelor is presented on the locality plan. The traverses were designed to provide ground control for the airborne interpretation report completed in February 1987 and an interpretation base for the further detail interpretation of the airborne magnetic and radiometric data anomalies. The traverses were commenced in early November 1986 and completed by March 1987.
