dc.description.abstractMetana Minerals NL has negotiated a production agreement with Northern Gold NL on tenements in the Howley Area of the Pine Creek Geosyncline. Initial work has involved water supply investigations, survey work and the digging of numerous costeans for gold sampling. Panned concentrate results suggest that gold is distributed over a wide area of potentially economic grades. After an alluvial gold processing facility is established and operating successfully, future work will concentrate on the hardrock gold potential of the area.en_US
