dc.description.abstractDuring the period 13th September, 1983 to 12th September, 1984, Ashton Mining Limited on behalf of the A.D.E. Joint Venture carried out an exploration program in EL 4359 aimed at the location of kimberlite pipes. Work undertaken included regional gravel sampling and airborne magnetics. Nine high priority magnetic anomalies were delineated within EL 4359. The licence is regarded as holding considerable potential for the location of kimberlite pipes based on the high incidence of microdiamonds and the nature and number of magnetic anomalies located in the Coanjula area.en_US
