United Uranium's activities at Namoona Lead prospect have focused on the northern portion and were aimed at proving a viable lead-zinc-silver deposit associated with soil anomalies and percent levels of metals in previous wagon drilling. An inclined diamond drillhole, DDH 2, tested the downward extension at a vertical depth ranging from 200 to 600 feet. Pyrite, galena and sphalerite were visible below 200 feet. The best assays reported were 14 inches at 0.80% Pb, 8.99% Zn and 0.4 oz/ton Ag at 378 feet and 10 inches at 4.00% Pb, 2.70% Zn and 0.9 oz/ton Ag at 673 feet 8 inches. In view of these results, United Uranium terminated its interest in the AP.en_US
