A further 15 anomalous zones were defined by geophysics. The majority of the PROTEM conductors were probably caused by near surface ferruginous clay and laterite with a minor ground water component. Conductors in holes LD10-11 and LP14-15 were caused by abundant disseminated pyrite in black-grey dololutite. Lead isotope work suggests that the majority of samples tested have undergone in situ radioactive decay of U and Pb. The isochron age of the samples points to a younger source for the lead than for the HYC deposit. An epigenetic origin for the lead has been inferred. Stockdale Prospecting have downgraded 2 of the 3 aeromagnetic anomalies.en_US
