dc.description.abstractExploration Licence 96 covers an area of 268 sq. are miles. The centre of the area is located 12 miles east of Tennant Creek in the Noble's Nob - Mount Rugged area and one section extends north of the town into the Quartz Hill area. Exploration work during the period consisted of the ground location of aeromagnetic anomalies, gridding, ground magnetic surveys, interpretation, geological mapping, surface sampling and assaying, shallow drilling and diamond drilling. Compilation and assessment of previously acquired data was undertaken during the period. This work was carried out on the following prospects and arcas:- R22, R29, R30, The Mule, Golden Dingo, Susan East, TC36, TC39 and Nob West-Juno. The above shallow drilling was carried out in the Peko-Juno-Nob West area.en_US
