Work completed included reconnaissance visits, orientation sampling over Golden Goose prospect utilising PIMA II and review of available data including magnetics. The PIMA II results indicate that alteration is essentially muscovite and subordinate illite. From experience in the Tanami, illite is a result of hydrothermal alteration of felsic rocks associated with the deposition of gold mineralisation. In 1996 PIMA II will be routinely used.en_US
