Abstract: | A regional surface sampling program was completed on EL8104. 234 samples were collected on a 200x500m grid. This defined two prospects, Shoemaker-Levy and Jupiter warranting follow up. Shoemaker Levy returned highly anomalous Cu-Bi values over 2.5km strike. At Jupiter significant gold in soil was defined-outlining a 1.2km diameter circular anomaly. Subsequent work at Shoemaker Levy defined two trends. These were a WNW Cu-Bi anomaly and a EW Cu-Au anomalism. RAB drilling targeted the intersection of these trends. No significant gold values were obtained but Bi values are highly anomalous with a blanket of supergene copper being intersected at a depth of 40m (best assays 15m at 0.2490 Cu, 50ppm Bi). Drilling at Jupiter encountered fresh unaltered granite at 6-15m. |
