Annual report on EL 8424 and EL 8425, for year 1, 24-12-1993 to 23-12-1994

Abstract

The licence areas have potential for gold mineralisation, particularly of the large tonnage, low grade type in quartz stockworks or complex vein systems. Resesarch and data compilation comprised the main exploration activities in the first year of tenure. All data were processed digitally per a GIS. A considerable amount of historical geological and exploration data was processed. The activities in the first year have demonstrated that subsequent exploration for gold should be focussed upon structural targets with particular emphasis given to soil and/or laterite covered areas in the north plus anticlines and faults generally.
