The work completed in this anniversary period included reviews, data compilation and processing of Geopeko's drilling data. Sections and plans were created, which will assist in interpreting the shapes of potential ore shoots and defining drill targets. The existing Geopeko drill holes were tested with a downhole magnetic probe to provide additional data on ironstone lithologies. In addition 11.1 line km were covered by a detailed ground magnetic survey and 216 vacuum drill holes were completed in the most prospective soil covered or poorly outcropping parts of the prospect. The ground magnetics helped to further define the magnetic anomalies in the area. No magnetic anomalies were recorded on MLC 129. The results obtained from the vacuum drill holes were generally poor with only 5 holes recording assays >3ppb Au. The maximum assay obtained was 78ppb Au and is coincident with magnetic anomaly 5. The anomalous Au values do not correlate with Bi or Cu anomalies. Bi and Cu anomalism was found to be associated with magnetic anomaly 2. From the review of Geopeko's work it became apparent that the magnetic anomalies have not been adequately tested. Further testing of ironstones associated with the magnetic anomalies is warranted and the shear zones along strike from the magnetic anomalies are prospective. Additional untested potential also exists for mineralisation in dilational zones associated with cross cutting faults.en_US
