dc.description.abstractInitially a reconnaissance stream sediment programme (-80#) consisted of 289 samples was undertaken, at the same time 10 rock chip samples from lateritic capping were collected. All assays were low from the stream sediment programme. Subsequent coarse fraction stream sediment samples close to 'Cobalt Bloom' returned anomalous Cu, Co and Ag. Rock chip sampling at 'Cobalt Bloom' demonstrated Cu, Zn, Co and Ag anomalism on surface outcrop in calcareous units of the Frew River Formation. Maximum assays of 8650ppm Cu, 29050ppm Pb, 1460ppm Zn, 33.2% Mn and 5000ppm Co were returned from rock chip sampling.en_US
