Abstract

In the first year of sampling a BLEG and -40 mesh stream sediment survey and reconnaissance rock chip sampling programme were undertaken. The BLEG survey highlighted a drainage system with anomalous gold geochemistry in the south of the licence (6.5 ppm Au max). -40 mesh drainage geochemistry outlined three areas with anomalous base metal values. The most prospective of these base metal anomalies, the Acacia Creek Anomaly, has coincident Pb (45 ppm),Zn (140 ppm) and Cu (170 ppm) anomalies and overlies the Coomalie Dolomite, Whites Formation contact.
