| Abstract: | Interpretation of the 1984 Austrex aeromagnetic survey indicates that the area is magnetically quiet with a dubious anomaly in the centre of the leases. A ground magnetic survey over MCN's 448 to 457 did not reveal any likely ironstone magnetic source. Soil geochemistry revealed spot highs. Future work is to include a bedrock sampling programme. |
