| Abstract: | Exploration licence 5684 covers a pegmatite dyke feeder system. Exploration work was specifically designed to cover zones of pegmetite and greisenided country rock. The tenement also covers vital drainages originating from high ground containing known tin, tantalum and gold mineralisation. Regional reconnaissances and pan sampling has been carried out with a view to locate a mineable (placer type) tin-tantalum and associated heavy mineral deposit. Sample evaluation has confermed the presence of an anomalous heavy mineral suite derived from an acid intrusive and contact metamorphic terrain. |
