dc.description.abstractThe 1988 exploration programme was a reconnaissance evaluation consisting of geological mapping and stream sediment/rock chip sampling. 18 stream sediment samples were collected from each site, which were split in 3 in order to obtain a BCL sample, a -80 mesh silt, and a pan concentrate of the heavy mineral fraction. 25 rock chip and float samples were also collected and assayed. The assay results indicate no significant anomalous zones and therefore no potential for a significant hard rock resource. All four blocks have been relinquished.en_US
