Abstract

Exploration Licence 5439 lies in a region of known zone of gold mineralisation related to the Pine Creek Shear Zone. A stream sediment sampling programe together with reconnaissance mapping and Rockchip Sampling was completed in the area, for providing evidence of gold and base metal mineralisation. A detailed aeromagnetic survey was also completed in the area, however the results did not show any discrete aeromagnetic targets. No economically mineralised targets have been outlined in the area, however potential for finding deposits may lie in the central and southern portions of the licence area, where anomalous sample results were produced.
