Title: | Annual & Surrender Report 1988 to 1989 Tosca Prospect. |
Title Holder / Company: | Rosequartz Mining |
Report id: | CR1989-0677 |
Tenure: | EL6258 |
Year: | 1989 |
Abstract: | The Tosca Prospect is geographically and stratigraphically remote from the Warramunga-Hatches Creek Unconformity, thus there is little chance of gold mineralisation from this source. Quartz veins exposed in the Rooney's Formation near the Elkedra Granite were weakly anomalous in base metals but gold values were low. Gold potential for this area has been discounted. Base metals are not considered economic potential. Turquoise occurs in localised erosional basins within areas excised from the licence. |
