dc.description.abstractEL 4737 is located between 30 and 45 km southeast of Adelaide River on the Stuart Highway. Exploration on the licence areas not converted to Mineral Leases, Claims, or ERLs has been conducted in two main phases. Initial work carried out was alluvial exploration by Metana Minerals NL under an agreement with Northern Gold NL signed in 1986. Hardrock exploration on these areas commenced in 1987, with the majority of work being conducted in 1988. Soil sampling and reverse circulation drilling programmes were carried out, with a total of 6 holes drilled and 849 soil and stream sediment samples collected.en_US
