dc.description.abstractExploration Retention Lease 57, located on the Cox Peninsula south-west of Darwin, was explored for cassiterite and tantalite mineralization in pegmatites and alluvium. The program was concentrated on further evaluation of the Annie River Drainage prospect, by sampling alluvial deposits with the auger drill. The data provided can only act as a guide to the contained mineralisation. it is hoped that extrapolation of adjacent trench data and comparison with drill results will provide sufficient information to enable an estimate of reserves for the Annie River.en_US
