Title: Annual report for EL 3543 Mount Shoobridge, year ending April 1985
Title Holder / Company: Talmina Trading
Report id: CR1985-0141
Tenure: EL3543
Year: 1985
Author: Richardson, BD
Abstract: The licence covers rocks of the Burrell Creek Formation which are unconformably overlain by sandstone of the Cretaceous Petrel Formation. In the Mount Shoobridge area a number of tin, lead and copper prospects occur in the pegmatites, quartz veins and shear zones in the schists of the Burrell Creek Formation. Much of the mineralisation is genetically related to the Middle Proterozoic Shoobridge Granite. Results so far show that EL 3543 is unprospective for tin mineralisation.
