| Abstract: | In the first year of tenure, drainage gravel sampling was completed over the EL. Only microdiamonds were recovered from three samples. Follow up drainage and loam sampling revealed six microdiamonds. A detailed airborne magnetic and radiometric survey was flown over the El, and 22 anomalies were selected for follow up investigation as possible kimberlitic diatremes. Only 13 of these anomalies were loam sampled. Anomaly results are discussed in detail. |
