Final report for EL 1570 Bigryli West year ending 26 January 1980.

Abstract

This report covers exploration carried out in the EL 1570 area from its granting on January 27th, 1978 to its expiry on January 26th, 1980. Initially a review of existing information was made and from which it was decided that an a1phaMETER reconnaissance' survey should be carried oust to attempt to detect the extension of the uraniferous horizon from the adjacent Bigrlyi Prospect within the licence area. A number of anomalies were obtained but were not tested as the area in which they occurred was excluded in the licence granted in 1979. Geological reconnaissance mapping (1:25,000) in 1979 confirmed that the remaining licence area had extremely poor prospects for uranium and the licence was not renewed in 1980.
