| Abstract: | EL 1611 covers a small area worked in conjunction with contiguous ELs 1241, 1415 and 1420. Grant of EL 1611 was delayed by a legal dispute. The Brewer Conglomerate was tested for uranium mineralisation. Three stratigraphic percussion holes for 438 m and 5 pre-collared diamond drillholes for 779.95 m were drilled to test for a possible extension of an anomaly from EL 1241 to the north. All holes were logged for gamma, and where possible, SP and resistivity. Radiometric anomalies associated with weak uranium concentrations were located in each of the diamond drillholes and one percussion hole. The mineralisation occurs in channel facies of the Undandita Member. |
