dc.description.abstractDetailed 1:50,000 scale mapping of the McArthur Group rocks within EL 873 has been completed. This includes reinterpretation of rocks near HYC as being Emmerugga Dolomite and the possible equivalent of the Kookaburra Creek Formation. Geochemical soil and drainage sampling has been undertaken, mainly targeting dolomitic units of the Kookaburra Creek Formation. Sample density was nominally 1.5 km square. No visible mineralisation was located and the geochemical values are insignificant. It was concluded that the area is not prospective for base metals.en_US
