A zone of copper mineralisation has been delineated within fractures of a basic sill. This years work was designed to assess the economic potential of the mineralized zone in Prospect D and to delineate favourable geological target areas within the EL held by the Company. The fieldwork up to September 1st was done in seven stages but not necessarily in the numerical order as listed hereunder; 1. Saturation geochem airtrac drilling at 25? intervals on previously established grid lines along the strike and immediate vicinity of the mineralized zone in Prospect 0, 2. 600 angle hole percussion drilling on section lines at 250? intervals along the strike of the lode in order to evaluate the extent of oxide mineralization and geology to a 100? vertical depth where possible, 3. Drilling of five short diamond, drill holes to an average depth of 394? along the mineralized zone on predetermined sections from 1200N to 4200N. This zone had not been previously tested by diamond drilling with the exception of one deep diamond drill hole 0DM 6 BC, 4. Detailed geological mapping of Prospect D, 5. Regional geological mapping over the Exploration Licence, 6. Airborne EM Input survey. Two geologists, Steve Rhea and Bill Felderhof were engaged in regional geological mapping and assisting Dave Barraclough, geologist, in his detailed geological work on Prospect D. All aspects were checked and evaluated by the writer in close consultation with Ralph Wilpolt. In view of the bulk of information gathered during this field season, the report is in three sections; A. Regional geology which includes broad aspects of Prospect D geology and mineralization by JB Felderhof, B. Detailed geology, mineralization and geochemistry of Prospect D and immediate vicinity by Dave Barraclough, D. Inferred Geological Tonnage by JB Felderhof General information such as access, location and climate in the region in which) the Barrow Creek Group Exploration Licence lies has been given previous reports submitted to the Department and will not be repeated. This Exploration Licence once consisting of 422 square miles was originally part of AP 2651 which was subdivided on 27/12/72 into two EL?s namely EL 803 and EL 804. These EL?s border EL 372, Mt Strzelecki to the NW which is also held by this Company. Subsequently, the regional geology and related subject matters on this Exploration Licence is discussed in this report in conjunction with EL?s 803 and 372.en_US
