Abstract

During the reporting period, 2 lines of dipole-dipole IP were surveyed, located across the Crater Formatio/Coomalie Dolomite contact where previous rock chip sampling had delineated a base metal anomalous zone associated with a syncline hinge zone. The lack of phase response from the two IP lines indicates there is no significant sulhide mineralisation associated with the Crater Formation/Coomalie Dolomite contact. The zone of negative phase values is probably associated with laterisation and brecciation in the dolomite. The IP response failed to map the contact. This work failed to locate any significant anomalous areas. Further geochemical testing of the contact zone is required to test the mineralisation potential of the area.
