The area is considered prospective for carbonate hosted Pb-Zn-Ag. Work completed during the reporting period included an airborne magnetic-radiometric survey, a gradient array IP survey and detailed soil and rock chip sampling. Interpretation of the airborne magnetic and radiometric data revealed NW trending features/faults coincident with the zone of anomalous geochemistry. The geochemical sampling outlined a significant zone of lead anomalism (max. 6100ppm) with lesser but supporting Zn (max. 660ppm), Ba (1.49%), Ag, As, Sb and U. Rock chip values from the soil anomaly returned maximum values of 1.02% Pb and 5500ppm Zn. This zone is associated with epithermal silica replacement of limestone. Interpretation of the IP data did not reveal any response attributable to sulphide mineralisation.en_US
