During the first year of tenure 161 drainage gravel samples were taken and processed for microdiamonds. Kimberlitic indicator minerals, chromites were recovered from the northeast of Mt Ultim and two tributaries of the Ooratippra Creek. As well as the chromites, one microdiamonds was in the Ooratippra Creek Area. No base metal anomalies were located. Investigations of the airphoto targets indicated that they were not due to kimberlitic pipes. The source of the chromites has been located to date but the small number of chromites recovered strongly downgrades to potential of a kimberlitic body of economic significant within EL5802.en_US
