Abstract: The tenements of the Reynolds Range Project lie in Central Australia centred approximately 225 kilometres north-northeast of Alice Springs. They are situated in the central part of the Aileron Province of the Arunta Region and are covered by the Mount Peake, Napperby, Mount Doreen and Mount Theo 1:250,000 Geological Sheets. Exploration consisted of a regional desktop study, including geological interpretation of geophysical data and transfer and validation of all open-file exploration data to the TGNL database. The study identified that a major Trans-Tanami structural corridor runs through the project area and is prospective for Palaeoproterozoic gold mineralisation. A brief logistics trip was undertaken through the area. An Indigenous Land Use Agreement between TGNL and the Central Land Council, on behalf of the traditional owners, has been negotiated for the Reynolds Range Project. The ILUA has been lodged with the National Native Title Tribunal. Work Area Clearances for the Reynolds Range Project are currently under consideration by the CLC.
