Abstract: Since 1998 EL 5418 comprised of two areas referred to as EL 5418N Four Corners and EL 5418S Windy Hills. The later is under application for becoming ERL 153. This report documents in detail all work completed on EL 5418N during the 10 years of its tenure. The Four Corners anomaly was delineated during years 1 to 5 through geophysical interpretation and surficial geochemical sampling. During the sixth year exploration on EL 5418 North consisted of regional geological mapping, rock chip sampling, Bleg sampling, followed by RAB drilling. The rock chip sampling identified two main areas of anomalous Au results (max. 14ppb), but the geochemical analysis of the BLEG and RAB samles were not anomalous. During the seventh year of tenure, RAB drilling, which was a follow up to a magnetic anomaly, did not return any significant geochemistry. Minor low order gold values (max 14ppb Au) were encountered associated with quartz veining in dolerite. Elevated Cu-Zn values were also recovered from the dolerite. During the eighth year a ground magnetic survey was conducted at Four Corners, which was used to guide the RAB drilling programme that followed. The RAB drilling followed up two geochemical anomalies identified by Zapopan. Preliminary results have failed to return any gold values >4ppb Au. In the ninth year of tenure some encouragement was gained from lag sampling over the western portion of the area. No work was completed in the tenth year of tenure and the licence was relinquished.
