Title: Bulk density and magnetic susceptibility data from core samples of the Birrindudu Basin region and McArthur Basin
Author: Grosjean, E; Denman, J; Wang, L; Anderson, J; Jorgensen, D
Abstract: This report presents new bulk density and magnetic susceptibility data on core samples from 23 legacy drill cores collected at the Northern Territory Geological Survey core repository in Darwin in October 2024. These data form part of of a broader drill core analytical program undertaken within the Birrindudu Deep Dive region, including drill holes from the McArthur Basin. The Birrindudu Deep Dive covers multiple geological provinces of varying age and assesses their potential to support economically sustainable resources, agriculture, and social outcomes for regional and remote communities. This project is delivered under the Resourcing Australia's Prosperity initiative, which supports Australia's long-term resource security and transition to net zero by 2050 by providing enhanced pre-competitive geoscience data, scientific analysis and decision-support tools to underpin resource exploration and the responsible management of Australia's resources.

Petrographic analyses report, Greater McArthur Projects

Title: Petrographic analyses report, Greater McArthur Projects
Author: Crombez, V
Abstract: A suite of seven (7) drill core samples was submitted for petrographic section preparation, description and interpretation. The samples were from various project areas in the Northern Territory, which from an email heading appeared to be Maryfield, Broadmere and Dunmarra.; The samples comprised small pieces of drill core (few centimetres of generally less than half core), with some stated to contain small amounts of sulphide minerals and some containing anomalous metal values. Samples were labelled Marmbulligan 1 @409.76 m, NDW12-01 @307.1 m, NDW12-01 @307.15 m, VDD2 @203.85 m, VDD2 @205.1 m, 12LE001 @131.9 m and DDH08 @183.1 m.; The purpose of the petrographic work was to identify the primary rock types and imposed processes that included diagenetic alteration and local sulphide mineralisation.

Petrographic analyse report, Baines project

Title: Petrographic analyse report, Baines project
Abstract: One (1) drill core sample was submitted for petrographic section preparation, description and interpretation. This sample is labelled BA-01, from the Baines project in the northwestern part of the Northern Territory.; The sample constituted a small piece of drill core, <5 cm long, and most appeared to be fresh, with little indication of supergene alteration.; The purpose of the petrographic work was to identify the primary rock types and imposed processes that included (depending on the sample) diagenetic to very low-grade metamorphic alteration, higher grade metamorphism, and nature of sulphide mineralisation.
