Dear John, Regarding our recent phone conversation, this email is to advise that Arafura Resources has included all data in our last annual report regarding our exploration activities in EL 10215. Arafura Resources placed a suspension on all sample preparation and analytical work for the Unca Prospect and hence the requested “pending” data is not outstanding. We will submit all analytical data in relation to EL10215 to your department in due course when, and if, Arafura decides to lift its suspension on all non-core work activities. More than 2000 RC assay samples and duplicates were submitted to ALS Chemex in Alice Springs for laboratory work. Sample preparation and compositing commenced in the latter part of 2008, with approximately half of the samples prepped for assay as per our instructions. You will note that the cost of this activity was included in our 2008 annual report. The prepped assay samples were then forwarded to ALS Chemex in Perth for DTR and dual XRF assay. Arafura Resources suspended all work on these samples in October 2008. The assay samples have been placed in storage. To limit additional laboratory storage costs, all material from the Alice Springs lab has been relocated to locked container at Arafura’s exploration office in Aileron. You will note that Arafura has included the cost of assaying these samples in this year’s minimum exploration expenditure for EL 10215. Subject to board approval, I anticipate this analytical work should recommence in 2009.
