AB  - The exploration licences (EL) 33626 and 33627 form the Baines Project and are located to the north of the Tanami desert, in the Victoria Daly region. The licences are located approximately 150km to the SE of Kununurra, and 600km to the NW of Tennant Creek. The project covers an area of 1,640 square kilometres. This was granted to Baudin Resources Pty Ltd (a fully owned subsidiary of Encounter Resources Ltd - 'Encounter'). The Baines Project that is considered prospective for sediment-hosted Cu and Pb-Zn. In June 2024, following the release of the Northwest Northern Territory Seismic Survey by Geoscience Australia, Encounter completed a review of the Baines project tenure in July and August 2024 and decided to surrender the project as the most prospective targets were below explorable depths.
