AB  - This record reports on petrographic descriptions and interpretations for 42 rock samples from the Central and Litchfield domains of the Pine Creek Orogen (PCO). Two samples from drillhole LBD2 are also reported; these represent stratigraphy that may be coeval with PCO rocks beneath the Birrindudu Basin.
AB  - The report includes outcrop or drillcore photographs, thin-section images, and representative photomicrographs of mineralogical and textural features for each sample. All section offcuts were measured for magnetic susceptibility and two were tested with dilute HCl to check carbonate speciation. For each sample, a brief interpretation is presented of the primary rock types, the effects of metamorphism and deformation, and any indications of sulfide mineralisation and supergene alteration.
