AB  - This data release contains the total organic carbon (TOC) content and Rock-Eval pyrolysis data of 34 samples from the Birrindudu Basin selected from three drill cores in the NTGS's Darwin core repository. These samples covered six formations: Campbell Springs Dolostone (n = 2), Fraynes Formation (n = 9), Timber Creek Formation (n = 5), Skull Creek Formation (n = 1), Battle Creek Formation (n = 12) and the Wondoan Hill Formation (n = 5) of the Birrindudu Basin (Table 1). This data was generated at the Organic Geochemistry Laboratory at Geoscience Australia as part of the EFTF program.
AB  - This publically available dataset is provided in preparation for future work to generate statistics quantifying the spatial distribution and composition of sedimentary rocks, providing information to de-risk resource decision making and investment of northern Australian basins.
