AB  - Between 24 March 2016 and 18 July 2017, MMG was granted 2 exploration tenements in the McCarthy Basin. These have been combined as the Central Batten Group Reporting area (GR478). The primary exploration target for MMG is zinc-lead deposits in black shales of the McArthur Group. Exploration activities consisted mainly of desktop studies and some basic field reconnaissance was conducted on EL 30868 in 2017 to assess access into areas for proposed drilling, and program logistics. Exploration activities are yet to commence on EL 31426, however, this tenement was only granted in July 2017 and no field work can occur over the wet season. The proposed 2018 exploration programme includes further desktop studies, field reconnaissance, mapping, surface sampling and ground geophysics. Follow-up drilling may occur dependent upon the reconnaissance work results.
