The main objectives of this survey were to further study the structure of the Burt Range embayment and to determine the thickness of the sedimentary sequence present with it. Other objectives were to delineate reliable drilling locations on structures or close to wedge-out which could form traps for hydrocarbon accumulations and to obtain more reliable geophysical control of structure encountered in other geophysical surveys. AB - A 'high' on line N-6 is considered to have the best prospect of forming a petroleum trap. The area south of Spirit Hill Well No. 1. warrants further investigation.
