AB  - Geophysical Service Inc carried out the 1987 Beachcomber-Sandpiper Seismic Survey on behalf of Beach Petroleum NL within OP184. The survey acquired 15 new seismic lines of 120 trace, 20 fold vibroseis data with a total distance of 162.3 km. A 3km section of line BS87-03 was also recorded at 60 fold with 2, 6 sec sweeps per vibrator point. The acquired seismic data was processed by Hosking Geophyscial Corp along with 118.65km of previous surveys 1984/1985 conducted within the area. The final interpretation incorporated the seismic data obtained from both the current survey and the reprocessed data from the Simpson Desert 1984 and 1985 surveys.
AB  - Two leads were confirmed and interpreted structural plans produced. The Beachcomber-Sandpiper seismic survey was acquired to mature the lead into a drillable target.
