AB  - The 1982 Mereenie Seismic Survey was carried out by Seismograph Service Ltd for Magellan Petroleum Pty Ltd on behalf of the Mereenie Joint Venture. This survey acquired 186.3km of 12 fold data using vibroesis as an energy source. Processing of the acquired data was conducted by Petty-Ray Geophysical. A further 19.3km of seismic data was acquired at the Ooraminna prospect which was carried out by Seismograph Service Ltd, with the data process by Geophysical Service International.  The purpose of the 1982 Mereenie survey was to pin point faults bisecting the area and to further delineate known hydrocarbon bearing structures.
