Soil sampling highlighted 4 anomalous areas. A problem with the BLEG 2 procedure was highlighted as some old workings etc did not reveal anomalous values. This emphasised the need to match the sample technique to the geological environment in order to select the most appropriate method of analysis. Drilling failed to intersect any economic grade mineralisation with only 51m wide intercepts, 1g-t Au. From the work to date the potential for moderate to high tonnages of economic grade mineralisation is limited. Small tonnage high grade pods may occur but are too widely spaced and randomly distributed to be economically viable.
