AB  - Mineral exploration on EL 9742 has focussed on some surficial gold anomalies and an ovoid feature seen in aerial and satellite photographs. The 10 graticular blocks
relinquished at the end of the 8th year of tenure are outside the area covered by these works. The only work covering the relinquished area was a 50 m-spaced aeromagnetic
survey conducted by Kevron Geophysics Pty. Ltd in the first year of tenure (2002). These aeromagnetic data were part of a collaboration with the Northern Territory Geological
Survey and are already in the department's possession.
