The 10 graticular blocks relinquished at the end of the 8th year of tenure are outside the area covered by these works. The only work covering the relinquished area was a 50 m-spaced aeromagnetic survey conducted by Kevron Geophysics Pty. Ltd in the first year of tenure (2002). These aeromagnetic data were part of a collaboration with the Northern Territory Geological Survey and are already in the department's possession.
