AB  - Sandstone Uranium Pty Ltd is exploring the Northern Territory for uranium mineralization over four tenements (EL's 25872, 25871, 25921 and 25924). This report summarises exploration activities undertaken in 2008 on EL 25924. The tenement is located 20km South of Nutwood Downs (Pastoral lease) and around 270km South-east of Katherine. The geological setting is the Dunmarra Basin, a Cretaceous sedimentary basin comprising interbedded carbonate sandstones, siltstones and mudstones of a fluvial to shallow marine environment at least 100m in thickness which overlies Cambrian sandstones and limestones. Tertiary laterites and Quaternary alluvium deposits are extensive over the Dunmarra Basin.
Desk studies and research on previous exploration resulted in Sandstone Uranium Pty ltd focusing is exploration on EL 25872. No fieldwork was undertaken on EL 25924 in 2008.
